Our congratulations to Matt Gyuatt for qualifying to get on to the Japanese Tour for2011. Matt has worked hard on his game and with Richard Harris as his coach and mentor I’m sure we will here of many success’s in the coming year.

Demo Vs Club Fitting? A lot has happened in golf equipment in the last 20 years and club fitting has had a tough time keeping up. Many manufactures have come up with way’s of getting golfers to try there product’s. One such way is through demo clubs and demo day’s, but is this the right way to go? It could be that the club you try while playing your golf is great yet you may play your worst golf and not like the club at all or you might play really well and the club could not be suited to you. That method may produce more confusion and could take you longer to find the best club for your game. Club fitting on the other hand is more precise and less confusing when done by a PGA Qualified club fitter. With club fitting here at McLeod, we can narrow down your selection of clubs to one or two choices within about an hour. With fitting equipment from TaylorMade, Titleist, Ping and Infiniti you have a wide variety of clubs to choose from. While a Fitting session at McLeod is not free, we do use a Launch Monitor and a detailed analysis of your swing characteristics to speed up the process.
